Millton Estate is the Gisborne vineyard certified organically farmed by the Millton family using biodynamic principles since the mid-1980s. James and Annie Millton are also part of New Zealand’s Family of XII and produce very expressive wines from their family owned vineyard. The single vineyard “Te Arai” Chenin Blanc is perhaps James Millton’s most famous wine, and for me is the purest expressions of terroir and varietal character. His wines have a lovely texture and positive energy.
