Roving Sommelier is passionate about premium quality regional wines. Grüner Veltliner is an highly aromatic indigenous Austrian white grape. This one is produced by Weingut Rabl in Langenlois in the famous Kamptal region, an hour or so along the river Danube west of Vienna. The wine is crisp, dry, highly aromatic and super fresh with lovely exotic and citrus aromas and mouth-watering acidity. Definitely worth a try. Best enjoyed chilled with or without food and in a convivial atmosphere.
