Description

Roving Sommelier loves premium quality sparkling wines from around the world. Even better when these expressive wines are made with love and care at home within Great Britain. For me, they are ideal for those who prefer their sparkling wines to be playful yet serious and perfect for parties and celebrations.

For more than 30 years, Nyetimber has had a single aim: to make the finest English sparkling wine, one to rival the very best in the world. Based in West Chiltington in West Sussex, a true pioneer, Nyetimber was the first to craft English sparkling wine exclusively from the three celebrated grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Each bottle of Nyetimber is made from 100% estate-grown grapes and the numerous international awards prove that England can indeed produce wines of grand marque standard.

Cuvée Chérie (named after their winemaker Cherie Spriggs) entices with a fine balance of zest and sweetness. Perfectly matched with delicate desserts, soft and creamy cheeses, and fragrant savoury dishes with light spice.

Best enjoyed well-chilled with or without food and in a convivial atmosphere.
