Description

Roving Sommelier loves premium quality sparkling and pink wines from around the world. Even better when these expressive wines are made with love and care. For me, they are ideal for those who prefer their sparkling wines to be playful yet serious. What is more, these delicious sparkling wines are perfect alternatives to traditional Champagne for parties and festivities.

This benchmark sparkling wine is named after “Pelorus Jack”, the famous dolphin of Marlborough, who playfully rode the bow waves and guided ships the treacherous waters of the Cook Straights from 1888 to 1912.

Produced using the traditional method, Cloudy Bay Pelorus exhibits a fresh palate of apple and citrus. The bright notes are balanced with rich layers of honey, brioche, and creamy complexity. Designed as an aperitif, Pelorus also compliments a range of cuisines.

Best enjoyed well-chilled with or without food and in a convivial atmosphere.
