Located in the Cove of Paulilles, a protected landmark site, Les Clos des Paulilles is a symbolic estate in Roussillon. It extends over 90 hectares of valleys and brown schist terraces falling into the Mediterranean Sea. Dry climate, maritime influences, harvest by hand and low yields – all these conditions give wines with a strong personality.
Made from black Grenache, this Banyuls is kept in an air-conditioned cellar and bottled within 18 months after vinification. Best served at 12 degrees Celsius, it reveals intense aromas of black fruits and is a perfect accompaniment to desserts made with chocolate and red fruits.
