Description

Roving Sommelier is passionate about premium quality regional wines. Essentially this wine is a baby Sancerre. For me, it’s a great value for money example of a Loire Sauvignon Blanc and made by one of the foremost families in Chavignol in the Sancerre appellation. Ten generations of winemaking know-how at Domaine Henri Bourgeois have resulted in top quality and expressive wines consistently produced at their eponymous estate in the Loire Valley. The family also owns vineyards and makes wines under the Clos Henri label in Marlborough, New Zealand. Best enjoyed chilled and in a friendly atmosphere.
