Description

Roving Sommelier is passionate about premium quality Spanish regional wines. Bodegas Bhilar is a small family-owned winery that produces affordable, premium wines in the region of Rioja Alavesa, Northern Spain. David Sampedro is one of the champions of Graciano in the Rioja DOCa region. Graciano is a late ripening grape variety that is rarely bottled as a mono varietal wine due to its temperamental nature. It is a most elegant but powerful grape, hints of liquorice root, violets and eucalyptus, but on the palate there is bright red fruit with hints of spice. A rare and appealing wine.

Alcohol: 13% abv (75cl)

Closure: Cork

Grape variety: 100% Graciano

Flavour Profile: Medium-bodied, Aromatic, Black and red fruits, Herbaceous, Spice. Good acidity. Great with Hard cheeses and red meats, especially Charcuterie, stews and casseroles.
