Roving Sommelier is passionate about premium quality French regional wines. Domaine des Lauriers’ family-owned property is near Pezenas in the Languedoc region. It is made up of many different parcels based on red clay slopes and surrounded by ‘garrigue’ (local aromatic herbs and flowers). They have recently had a modern winery built into a hillside and the wines produced are clean, fruit driven and well balanced. They are most famous for their authentic Picpoul de Pinet white wine and are among a small group of Picpoul producers who are making wines that fit well with modern tastes while also being faithful to their appellation.

“Le Bon Côté” – which means “The Bright Side” is an affordable range of wines that fully express the Cabrol family’s faithful way of making wine, and in a sustainable way. They are Terra Vitis certified.  The red is a fragrant and juicy blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, gently fermented to make a supple wine with a touch of liquorice.
