Roving Sommelier is passionate about premium quality New Zealand regional wines. Lawson’s Dry Hills is a family owned Marlborough winery producing premium quality wines that exhibit excellent depth of flavour and varietal expression. A long warm summer and meticulous work in the vineyard has allowed us to produce an elegant wine with wonderful aromatics and varietal expression. The 2014 Sauvignon Blanc shows delightful passionfruit and lime aromas with green herbal undertones while the palate displays lovely texture and concentration. A small portion of the wine was fermented in seasoned French oak, which adds depth and texture to the wine. Best drunk chilled as an aperitif and/or with food such as fish, seafood and light salads.
