Description
Roving Sommelier is passionate about premium quality regional wines. For me, Muscadet is a very underrated wine and deserves to be appreciated. Domaine de Verger, made by the talented Pierre Luneau-Papin is a great example to try if you’ve never tasted one before. Muscadet is famous for its crisp, freshness and mouth-watering acidity, with its aromatic complexity derived from spending months on its lees (sur lie) before bottling. Best enjoyed chilled and in a friendly atmosphere. It’s especially great with oysters and seafood.
Alcohol: 12% abv (75cl)
Closure: Cork
Grape variety: Melon de Bourgogne
Flavour Profile: Clean, Fresh, Dry, Mouth-watering acidity. Great with seafood especially Oysters, Mussels and Scallops.
