2010 La Vierge Collection, “Nymphomane”, Hemel-en-Aarde, South Africa

Roving Sommelier is passionate about premium quality regional wines. La Vierge are passionate about their unique terroir and special place within the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. Nestled in the folds of the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge just outside the coastal hamlet of Hermanus, La Vierge presents “Nymphomane” – a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Cabernet Franc. The vineyards are situated in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, which is known for its long cool summers influenced by the close proximity of the Atlantic Ocean. If you’re a fan of flavoursome South African reds, then you’ll love this one.

I suggest you decant this wine at least one hour before service. Best enjoyed with red meats and game dishes and in a convivial atmosphere.
