Roving Sommelier is passionate about premium quality Spanish regional wines. Bodegas Urbina is a small family-owned winery located in Cuzcurrita that produces affordable, premium wines in the region of Rioja, northern Spain. Traditionally made from Tempranillo grapes, this artisan wine spends 12 months ageing in a mixture of American and French oak barrels. Bright ruby red colour, fresh, fruity bouquet of soft red fruits with a touch of vanilla and a long, intense finish. The wine is medium-bodied yet elegant and fruity with rustic charm. Best enjoyed with food and in a convivial atmosphere. Great value for money.
