Description

Roving Sommelier loves premium quality sparkling and pink wines from around the world. Even better when these expressive wines are made with love and care. For me, they are ideal for those who prefer their sparkling wines to be playful yet serious. What is more, these delicious sparkling wines are perfect alternatives to traditional Champagne for parties and festivities.

The creation of Croser is based on the belief that the right conditions can produce a sparkling wine to rival those of Champagne. Based on aspect, soil, drainage, and rainfall, ‘distinguished sites’ in the cool climate Adelaide hills are chosen to ensure the best expression in the wine.

Following the same principles since 1985, minimal intervention is used to create this traditional method sparkling wine. All grapes are pruned by hand, handpicked into small crates, and whole bunch pressed.

The Croser team consists of winemaker Mike Mudge and viticulturalist Mike Harms. Together, they have more than 30 years of experience.

Croser reflects the quality of Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir and Chardonnay fruit. Made in the Traditional Method, Croser is a blend of selected vintages. The wine displays fresh and vibrant apple, pear, and citrus characters, accentuated with a creamy almond brioche finish. A wine of pedigree. Croser NV continues the renowned Croser style.

Best enjoyed well-chilled with or without food and in a convivial atmosphere.
