Description

Roving Sommelier is passionate about premium quality French regional wines. Personally speaking, Chiroubles is the most underrated of all Cru Village Beaujolais wines. For me, this wine is fragrant and fruity, classically made from the local Gamay grape. Vigneron Didier Desvignes only uses natural winemaking techniques without chemicals to get the best expression out of his terroir. As he says: “Everything I do both in vine growing and winemaking, aims at allowing nature and terroir to express themselves to the full.”  Best enjoyed lightly chilled and in a convivial atmosphere.

Alcohol: 13% abv (75cl)

Closure: Cork

Grape variety: Gamay

Flavour Profile: Clean, Fresh, Light-to-medium bodied, Elegant, Fragrant, Red Fruits. Best served lightly chilled.
