Established in 1951, Prodottori del Gavi is a wine cooperative and a collection of 95 artisan winegrowers that make wines that express the local Cortese grape and the unique terroirs of the vineyards they cultivate in Piedmont.

Celebrating the winery’s 70^th anniversary, the 2020 Mille951 has a straw-yellow colour with classic greenish shades. For me, this is quintessential Gavi DOCG. Its scent recalls hints of acacia flowers, and exotic fruits such as pear, passion fruit and pineapple. The mouthfeel is elegant and fresh and intensely delicious with a good acidity. This white wine is excellent as an aperitif, but goes perfectly with light first courses, white meat, fish dishes and fresh cheeses. Serve well chilled and in a convivial atmosphere.
