Description

Roving Sommelier is passionate about premium quality regional Spanish wines. Celler de Capcanes is a family-owned winery that produces premium wines in the province of Catalonia, northern Spain. Mas Collet is produced in the Montsant D.O which surrounds the very prestigious Priorat denominacion, where highly prized wines are made by cult winegrowers. However, for me, this makes the Montsant region more underrated and also (more importantly) more affordable and some wonderful French-influenced vinous gems can be discovered here, too.

This wine has been produced using hand-picked Garnatxa Negra (Grenache Noir), Cariñena (Carignan), and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the Capcanes highest mountain vineyards.

Serve at room temperature with seasonal food and in a convivial atmosphere.

Alcohol: 14.5% abv (75cl)
