Bodegas Castro Martin is a family-owned winery that produces affordable, premium wines in the sub-region of Val de Salnés, (D.O Rias Baixas), in the province of Galicia, Northwest Spain. Arguably, this is the quintessential home to the iconic Albariño grape. Their “Family Estate” wine is made only from the finest Albariño grapes, hand-selected from the best vineyard locations. After fermentation, the wine is aged on its lees (sobre lias) for 6-8 months to add depth, character, and texture. It then undergoes a light filtration to preserve its unique natural qualities. This Albariño is crisp, dry, and fresh with lovely, subtle fruity aromas. Best enjoyed chilled and a great partner to seafood.
