Description

Roving Sommelier is passionate about premium quality Spanish regional wines. Established in 1898, Adega Ponte da Boga is the oldest winery in Ribera Sacra. Adega Ponte da Boga is a small winery that produces affordable, premium wines in the region of Ribeira Sacra, Northern Spain. This flavoursome red has been produced entirely from the local Mencia grape, which is indigenous to Galicia, sourced from vineyards nestled deep into the region on the fertile soils of the slopes and steep terraces of the river Sil in the Ribeira Sacra denomination. Cooled by the Atlantic winds and basking in Spanish sunlight these precariously placed vines produce wines of authenticity and heritage. All grapes are tended and harvested by hand.

Best enjoyed with food and in a convivial atmosphere. Great value for money.
