Description

Roving Sommelier is passionate about premium quality Australian regional wines. Woodlands was established in 1973 by David and Heather Watson in the Wilyabrup Valley, located in the heart of the Margaret River region. This characterful white wine is made solely from fruit grown in this valley.

On the palate it has quintessential Chardonnay flavours of tropical fruit, an elegant texture, and a lick of well-integrated toasty oak, finishing with a crisp acidity. For me, Woodlands produces one of the finest Chardonnays in the Margaret River region and expresses all the aromas associated with this iconic wine region. Best enjoyed in a convivial atmosphere.
